We have a winner! And here she in all her crown and glory, beating Rita Hayworth 25-13 for a spot in the final four of the tournament which will take place on Monty’s blog! I will give you more information about where to go and when as soon as I have more information.
BETTE DAVIS
By the way, these are the other three contenders in the final four:
1930s: CAROLE LOMBARD
1950s: DORIS DAY
1950s: DIANA RIGG
Monty will be hosting the last part of the Classic Actress Tournament on his blog here, so please vote there or by clicking on the 1930s era button if you’d like… Good luck to these actresses!
So, a friend shared with me this adorable and funny video of Roz presenting the award for Best Sound at the 1969 Oscars. I don’t know about you, but when I watch something new and exciting like this, I can just squeal for joy. Haha! I hope you like this one if you haven’t seen it! <3
These are my favorite kind of photos of Roz, the ones where she is smiling or happy… she has that aura about her, as if she wants you to smile along with her. She is so awesome 🙂
It’s getting so close to the end and I’ve enjoyed every minute! Now we have our final two who will have their last showdown on my blog tomorrow 🙂
Here are the results:
BETTE DAVIS won against Judy Garland 42-39 in a victory that was very close in the last couple days… with definitely the most votes cast on my blog so far this year.
RITA HAYWORTH won against Gene Tierney 39-24. This match was not close at all and while Gene seemed to be winning at first, not long after, Rita pulled away in a splendid victory.
